Returning to Romania 2008

In July of 2008, my family (Al, Toni, and Bekah), along with a team from Midwest Bible Church and a group from Partners in Evangelism International, will return to the town of Alba Iulia, (if you follow the link at the left, you'll see the satellite image of the Fortress, built to keep out the invading Turks) which is in the Transylvania Region (no vampire jokes please) of Romania to continue the work that was started in 2006. We will be working with local church leaders and national missionaries. In 2006 (see here), we were able to train the local leaders to reach children and teens with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Vacation Bible School and other types of sports / games programs. We hope to continue in that same vein (continue refraining from vampire jokes) by hosting a day camp for the children of Alba Iulia and surrounding villages, and a sports camp for the teens and young adults.
